
OBJECTIVES
1.To mitigate climate change and build environmental resilience
through tree planting and preservation.
2.To cultivate a tree planting culture to communities, institutions
and the citizens.
3.To restore forests destroyed by agricultural, mining and domestic
activities.
4.To restore and preserve indigenous tree species.
5.To be a hub for information dissemination on environmental awareness
and general knowledge about trees.
6.To participate in climate change, capacity building and
environmental management programs, research and training.

METHODOLOGY
To plant, cultivate, promote and protect trees in partnership with
local communities, schools and institutions.
Adoption of agro-forestry and agro-ecology practices to develop sustainable agricultural systems that generate income, create jobs and business opportunities.
Conservation of trees, forests, associated biodiversity and be a hub for knowledge about the wise and sustainable use of indigenous trees.
Advocate and raise awareness on local and global environmental socioeconomic issues created by deforestation and unsustainable agriculture and the potential of trees to mitigate climate change and rehabilitate degraded land.
Support the establishment of community natural resource management strategies.

DELIVERABLES
Building capacity of local communities to increase resilience to environmental degradation and climate change shocks.
Improvement of livelihoods in rural communities through the sustainable use of forests and forest products, especially through the cultivation and use of traditional foods and medicines to improve food security, nutrition and health.
